Bethany’s Walk for Homelessness

Saturday 22 September 2007 - Fife Coastal Path

This year, Bethany’s Sponsored Walk for Homelessness follows the Fife Coastal Path from Elie to Pittenweem and back, meandering along the stunning coastline with its sandy beaches, historic ruins and quaint villages.

This is a great opportunity for a refreshing day out with family, friends and colleagues and raises much-needed funds to help homeless people.

The walk is about 10 miles there and back, but if you prefer to walk 5 miles, there are buses back to Elie from Pittenweem

Tea and coffee refreshments are provided free. There is also a free bus available from Edinburgh to Elie and back.

10.00am - 4.00pm at the Church of the Nazarene
This is an exciting day in the life of Emmanuel. There will be a programme of prayer, reflections and meditation. The day will be divided into 5 parts:

10.00am-11.00am - Return to God - Presentation led meditation with silent prayer
11.20am-12.30am - A New Commitment - Praise & Holy Communion based on committing ourselves afresh to Christ and His mission - Acts ch.8
12.30pm- 1.30pm - Lunch - bring a packed lunch and share fellowship
1.40pm- 1.40pm - His Wealth, My Treasure - Talk - Malachi ch.3
3.00pm- 4.00pm - Celebrating Gifts - A time of praise to thank God for His provision in the past and rejoicing at His provision for the future

Do try to bring your gifts to the final session from 3.00pm-4.00pm and try to join in at least one of the other sessions.
